Breast screening
You will automatically be invited for breast screening between the ages of 51 and 53.
You will then get recalled every 3 years until you are aged 71.
However, if you have any concerns about changes to your breasts at any point, please do make an appointment with us right away.
If you are a trans-man, trans-women or non-binary, it is possible you may get automatically called for breast screening. If not, please do speak to us or the local breast screening service if you feel you should have been offered a screening appointment.

Cervical screening
If you are aged 25-50 years, you will be invited for cervical screening at the Surgery every 3 years.
If you are aged 50-65 years, you will be invited every 5 years.
If you have had a total hysterectomy, you do not need cervical screening anymore.
Cervical screening is one of the best ways for you to protect yourself against cervical cancer. If you have any concerns about irregular bleeding or bleeding after intercourse, please do contact us via PATCHS or by telephone.

If you would like to arrange a full sexual health screen, please be advised this is best arranged via the Sexual Health clinic and not the GP Surgery, as they can assist with contact tracing. They are also able to help with contraception, implant and coil fitting.
