Middlewood Partnership launches new self help information
A new self help section on Middlewood Partnership’s website has been developed by our doctors to help you find out more about your health and where you can find help and support.
Dr Becky King, GP Fellow at the Middlewood Partnership who has led on the development of the new website content said:
“There’s no shortage of information and sources of support on the internet but there’s so much that it can be overwhelming. We’ve created a new section on our website that will help you find useful information on health issues that are important to you – all from trustworthy sources.
“There’s also links to lots of local support that you can access yourself. Self care can really help you feel empowered by giving you greater control over your health.”
The self help section has been split into categories to help you find what you are looking for, There are sections on the health of children, young people, women, men and LGBTQ+ as well as sections on wellbeing, support from local pharmacists, long term conditions, such as asthma and diabetes, and sprains and strains. And importantly in this mental health week, 9 – 15 June 2022, there’s sections on mental health for adults and young people.
