Long COVID

Everybody experiences COVID infection differently. Thanks to the vaccination programme, survival rates are markedly improved. However, some people are left struggling with symptoms for some time after their initial infection.

The term “Long COVID” is generally used to mean that somebody is still struggling 12 weeks after their initial infection. The length of your recovery is not necessarily linked with how severe your initial illness was.

Long COVID Exercise Programme

Locally, there is a structured Exercise Programme that has been designed to help people suffering with Long COVID.

This is available via self-referral and you can find out more on the Everybody website.:
