Dr Maurice Coope 1937-2022

We would like to express our deepest condolences following the sad passing of Dr Maurice Coope. We want to acknowledge and recognise the outstanding contribution to general practice and the people of Bollington that Maurice made over many decades.

He will be remembered by all as someone who cared deeply for his patients, his colleagues and the wider community, for his positive impact on the health and       well-being of so many local people.

In addition to looking after his patients in Bollington, Maurice was passionate about education and standards. He worked for many years supervising the training and development of GPs across Cheshire. General Practice continues to benefit from his legacy and the sharing of his knowledge, experience and skills.

Our thoughts are with Maurice’s family.
