Our wonderful colleague, Sue Collier

We have been devastated by the news of the passing of Sue Collier. She was a wonderful human being – beautifully kind, fantastically engaging and a truly excellent health care assistant.

Sue’s sudden death on Wednesday 26th July is deeply upsetting for all who knew her.  Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and her extensive network of friends locally, across the country and the world.

As a colleague, Sue’s glorious personality pervaded every part of our organisation and she brought joy and delightful mischief in equal measure to every day at work. She had the knack of finding the humorous side to many situations, whilst still maintaining the highest level of professionalism, clinical skill and expertise. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Sue – she would diligently attend to the needs of every scheduled patient and was always willing to make time for an urgent appointment or to help out a colleague. She was an exceptionally highly valued member of our healthcare team and her passing will touch all parts of our organisation. During the time we worked with Sue she spent many years at The McIlvride Practice, and then more recently at Priorslegh Medical Centre and The Schoolhouse Surgery.

It will take time for us all to come to terms with this loss and we know that many of our patients will also feel saddened. We will continue to attempt to provide our usual service but please bear with us at this difficult time. Thank you for your support.
