Just Drop In
Just Drop In is based in Macclesfield and offers free counselling to people aged 12-24yrs. They also offer wellbeing groups and family therapy.
You can contact them by text message, phone or email yourself – you don’t need a referral from your GP.

Visyon
If you’re a child or young person, Visyon can help you improve your mental health so that you feel better about yourself and the things that happen in your day-to-day life. Visyon is based in Congleton and is available for young people aged 11+, and their family if needed.
Alcohol and Drug Support
If you are having any problems with drinking or drugs, the friendly team at Change, Grow, Live can help. They support young people across Eastern Cheshire, to help you to get back on track.

Health for Teens
The Health for Teens site has lots of information to help with a range of issues, feelings and worries.
Childline - a free 24 hour helpline for children & young people. You can call about any problem, any time. Its confidential and you don't need to give your name if you don't want to.
Samaritans - Listening support for people who don't feel ok or have something troubling them. Also for people who are concerned about the wellbeing of someone else. They won't judge or tell you what to do.
Papyrus - Are you, or a young person you know, not coping with life? Papyrus offers confidential suicide prevention advice for children & young people 9am - midnight every day of the year..
Shout - a free 24/7 text service for anyone in crisis, anytime, anywhere. It's a place to go if you're struggling to cope and you need immediate help.
Anxiety UK - Open 9.30am – 5.30pm, Monday – Friday (except bank holidays). Our helpline volunteers provide friendly support and guidance on how to deal with anxiety and can discuss techniques for immediate short-term relief of anxiety symptoms through to helping you find the right path of action for more long-term support.
No Panic - if you are aged 18 years or younger and need help with anxiety, panic, phobias. obsessive compulsive related problems, then this helpline is for you.
Clear Fear is a free app to help children and young people manage symptoms of anxiety.
Every Mind Matters - Feeling stressed, anxious, low or struggling to sleep? Every Mind Matters can help with expert advice, practical tips and personalised actions to help stay well.
Young Minds - Whether you want to understand more about how you're feeling and find ways to feel better, or you want to support someone who's struggling, Young Minds can help.

Stem 4 - Lots and lots of support for teenagers for mental health and other issues
Mind - Mind's infoline provides an information and signposting service. 0300 123 3393 Open 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday (except for bank holidays). They provide information on mental health problems and where to get help.
Harmless - works to address & overcome issues related to self-harm and suicide
Alumina - a free, online course for young people struggling with self-harm. Each course has up to 8 young people, all accessing the sessions from their own phones, tablets or laptops across the UK.
Calm Harm is a free app that helps you manage or resist the urge to self-harm.
Mermaids – Support for Teenagers and Children with Gender Identity Issues
Mermaids is a national support service for trans and gender variant children and young people, and their families. Their goal is to relieve the mental and emotional stress of all young people aged 19 years and under whose gender identity causes distress, to support their families and to advance public awareness.
Mermaid offers information, shared experiences and support for individual young people whether they are out or not. They will try, where possible, to help their families understand and accept their young person’s gender identity.
Mermaid offers their support via telephone, email and web chat or equally it may be helpful to talk to others who are going through the same problems via their online forums.

Beat
Beat is the UK’s eating disorder charity. On their website you can find lots of information & their helpline has trained support workers experienced in listening and talking to people in a similar situation.
